ANDREY POLIKANOV

Born in 1961. Served as a military interpreter in Angola and Afghanistan in the 1980s.
In the early 1990s worked with some of the best international photojournalists producing stories on the events on the former USSR territory. In 1997-2007 worked as a photo editor for Time magazine. Since 2007 he is the director of photography for the Russian Reporter magazine.
He has taught numerous workshops on photojournalism since 2005.
