I think everyone has progressed nicely on their proposals and have fine-tuned and focussed their projects. Now it's time to put your words into practice and get out there and take some pictures.
I think some of you have already begun the photography, but if at all possible I would like a weekly update from each of you with a selection of photographs.
We should also talk via skype or whatever method.
I hope you've all realized the importance of focussing in on a good story proposal, and you understand the time that we put into this. A key aspect of being successful is not just the photography part, but what is it that you're trying to say? What is your idea? By spending the time on serious inquiry into your own ideas and methods, you'll have a stronger base to begin the photography. In the end, it's all about asking yourself the same question - "What do I want to say?"
So, pictures should be sent to me in a folder, 1000 pixels longest measurement, 72 dpi, and ordered the way you want me to see them. Sharish?
