I decided to illustrate one of the most important wishes of the young people - to be independent. I photographed young people in Belarus, who rent an apartment and do not live with their parents
Michael Regnier about this assignment Very nice idea to show people living in their own apartments - the first step of independence, of freedom from home etc. it's a very small set - I would like to see more... Also - what kind of people are living together? How are they getting along? Social situations like cooking or eating? All of t these things would be interesting and make the story more complete. And maybe even some comments from the people living there about what they do? Some small 'interviews' which would be interesting to understand more about how they have made their apartments look, inside. |
