OBJECTIVE REALITY

'I spent two weeks traveling across the Pskov region. I relied on the feeling that these places, that became essentially dear to me through my work, give me, while selecting the images.'
Michael Regnier about this assignment

I really like your set of images from this trip - are you from this region originally or how do you mean "the locations which became close to you"? I think you have captured some beautiful landscape images that really remind me of some of the 19th century Russian landscape painters... I think this is really what many people outside of Russia associate with Russia as well - the vast areas of rural villages, farmers, animals walking around, life continuing like it was maybe 60 years ago in Western Europe. I think you have really captured the atmosphere of how so many people in Russia still live and I’m always fascinated to see these rural situations since there's not much exposure for the lives of farmer etc.
